 | Lot #1496 GREECE 1871-72 40Lep lilac rose on greenish, the so-called "Solferino", used, with good to large margins all around, excellent color, cancelled lozenge "2" of Piraeus, small tear at left, very fine appearance of this legendary stamp, of which only 13 have been recorded. This is example VII in the Williams classification, ex-Jones and Maximus collections (Lot 10164, November 6, 1985, price realized 172,500 SFr), with 2003 Michael Tseriotis cert.
