| Lot #2012 LARGE LOTS & COLLECTIONS RUSSIA Military Mail 1915-19 family correspondence (100+ items) between a British Officer (Victor Edwards) and his family back home in Cheshire England, also other destinations including incoming mail to Russia and letters to Riga etc. Edwards set off for Russia with the English Army in 1915 and continued corresponding with his wife until 1919. He never returned home. An interesting archive (subject to an accompanying 1994 newspaper article), usage from Rostov, Petrograd etc., some censor markings, few unused ppcs, some with stamps removed, mixed condition  | Price Realized $525.00 |
