1905 Pigeon Post organized by "Le Matin". This event was designed to demonstrate the use of carrier pigeons. A special flight was organized from the "Araine", anchored in the Channel, opposite Penzance. The messageswhen received, were enclosed in tiny envelopes and gummed on to specially prepared "Le Matin" postcards and then posted. A v.f. card, with message, addressed to Paris, v.f.
