 | Lot #1282 FALKLAND ISLANDS 1901, July, small cover sent from New York to Port Stanley, Falkland Islands, missed the addressee (probably with a whaling ship), and returned back "c/o American Consulate, NY"; advertised and finally given up as undeliverable, Sept. 1901Port Stanley cancel on the front along with various service markings including "Received in bad order", not surprising, considering the incredible journey.
