1919 registered value letter (opened for display), franked on both sides with Russian adhesives paying 6.80r, sent from Nikolo-Alexandrovka to "The Japan Chronicle" in Kobe, censored by the Russian authorities in Vladivostok and by the Japanese Military, with value expressed in both rubles and Japanese sen, wax seals intact, backstamped in Kobe on arrival, an excellent historical cover documenting the Japanese presence and censorship in Siberia during the Russian Civil War

1921 registered value letter from Nikolsk-Ussurijsk transferring the sum of "4 sen" to the editors of "The Voice of the Nation" in Vladivostok, franked by a strip of 4x10k dark blue & bearing virtually intact postal seals of Nikolsk-Ussurijsk & arrival pmk. A v.f. and rare commercial cover used during the Japanese Occupation of the region and an excellent example of the enforced usage of Japanese currency on the local population; with Mikulski cert.
