1849 Hungarian Uprising FL to Wien with "Corps Schlick 2 June" blue hs and red arrival pmk, v.f. in June-July, 1849, Hungarian General Gorgei was driven South East toward Transylvania, where General Josef Bem, a Polish patriot in Hungarianservice, had been operating successfully. On July 31, in the battle of Segesvar, Bem was defeated by the Russian Troops led by General Paskiewich, with the remnants of his troops, Bem joined Gorgei for a last stand at Battle of Temesvar
