1927 De Pinedo supplementary mail, cover to Italy, franked with ordinary 60c black, canc. "Roma Centro", with Trepassey May 21 departure. This mail was taken in both St. John's and Trepassey, with most of the covers cancelled on departure.When another 20 pieces of mail arrived, the authorities decided not to deface the stamps in case this mail was too late for transmission. These 20 covers were cancelled upon arrival in Rome. A v.f. and rare item, Diena cert.
