This cover was apparently handed to Ross Smith (or another crew member) in Baghdad & flown to India, fine and very rare, with Ceremuga cert.

1926 cover to Australia, one of the very few carried by Cobham to Melbourne. It was posted there at the Ship Mail Room on 16.8.1926. Having reached Perth after the addressee left for England, it followed him there by ordinary mail. Cobhamflew in a DH50 with his mechanic A.B.Elliott until the latter was killed by a stray bullet near Basra. This was the flight for which Cobham was knighted.
