1933 Danish 15o stationery entire from Capt. Vedel to his wife Charlotte, flown by Charles Lindbergh to Reykjavik. The cover was handed to Lindbergh in Angmagsalik on Aug.6, 1933 where Capt. Vedel and Knut Rassmussen met with the aviator,during the 7th Thule expedition. This is the only known cover from the east coast of Greenland and bears a violet hs "Inspektionsskibet Nordstjernen" on reverse, v.f., accompanied by a copy of 1993 article in "The Posthorn" about this item
