The town of Batum was occupied by Turkish Forces in April 1918 which stayed there until December 17th; stationery entire with additional franking canc. by negative "Field Post 29" seal used by the 2nd Caucasian ArmyCorps, v.f. usage from Erzerum, just before Batum was occupied, with red letter seal on reverse and three transit & arrival markings of Istanbul
