1948-49 collection written up exhibition-style on pages, 73 War of Independence covers including Haganah, Army P.O, civilian, registered, POW, censored and government mail. The Military P.O. was organized soonafter the establishment of Israel and served all Armed Forces including Navy and Air Force. The Military P.O. closed in June 1949, shortly after the Armistice. A wonderful and well written collection with immense historical value
