1928 (21 Sep) Amsterdam to Batavia first KLM experimental flight, cover franked with 1a and 2a George V, flown from Rangoon to Singapore, redirected to Bangkok, flown only as far as Singora (Bangkok was under water), signed Stephen Smith and backstamped (25.9.28) on reverse, fine and scarce, only 35 covers carried on this leg
