1914 (19 July) registered cover from Lodz to Vienna, franked on back with pair of Russia 10k Romanov stamps, tied by Lodz central departure cds (in Cyrillic), with two handstamps "Detained by War Censor" and "Returned Due to War Conditions" on front, opened by Austrian Censor, with handstamps and label at right, additional handstamp on reverse "Returned to Sender due to War Conditions", with additional markings indicating that this cover was actually returned in 1918, four years after departure
