1916 (12 Jan) registered cover from Austria (Waltendorf b.Graz), with military censor and arrival pmk on back, addressed to Maria Sienkiewiczowa in Vevey, Switzerland (where she worked for the General Relief Committee for War Victims in Poland, with her husband Henryk Sienkiewicz, a Polish Nobel Prize laureate, best remembered for his historical novels, especially for his internationally known best-seller Quo Vadis. Sienkiewicz died November 15, 1916 in Vevey).
