1893 2c brown violet, imperforate vertical pair, unused without gum, showing portion of adjoining stamp at bottom, top stamp thin and heavily creased, bottom stamp faint creasing, fine appearance, rare, with 1993 PFC (Scott listed as 231b at that time) (one ungummed damaged sheet was discovered in New York City in 1900, most are more or less defective and cut close)
