 | Lot #140 POLAND Polish Forces in Palestine during World War II 1942 (16 June) registered cover from Palestine paying 15m (Palestine Mandate adhesive), canceled "Poczta Polowa 101", "Passed by Censor No.808" handstamp, also "Examined by Base Censor" label, Deputy Chief Censor handstamp applied in Egypt, boxed "Not Examined by Soviet Anglo Persian Censor" in Russian, addressed to the Polish Embassy in Kuybyshev, transit markings on back include Indian Section Base Post Office, F.P.O. No.164, also Moscow and Kuybyshev arrival (6.8.42).
