There are selections of attractive United States (over 350 lots), Western European countries with Austria, Benelux, Scandinavia, France, Germany, Danzig, Saar, Italy and Colonies, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Scandinavia. Great Britain and British Commonwealth are well represented and as always, our sale includes selections of better South America, Asia and rest of the world. We conclude with 130+ large lots and collections, which range from single country collections to multi-carton worldwide groups of stamps and covers.

1914 Surcharged on Marshall Islands, setting 10 (GRI and value 5 mm apart) 3d on 30pf black & orange on buff, setting 10, position 1, an unused example, surcharge inverted, h.r., fresh and well centered, v.f. (Gibbs estimates, on page 119 of his handbook, that just 5 unused examples can exist), obviously an extremely rare stamp, with 2017 BPA certificate (SG 55g, £9,000)
