We are pleased to present our March 12-13, 2019 sale, with 1,577 lots, properties of numerous vendors and estates sold by their order. There are selections of attractive United States (over 350 lots), Western European countries with Austria, Benelux, Scandinavia, France, Germany, Danzig, Saar, Italy and Colonies, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Scandinavia. Great Britain and British Commonwealth are well represented and as always, our sale includes selections of better South America, Asia and rest of the world. ISRAEL - HOLYLAND German Offices in the Holyland
1918 registered fieldpost cover addressed to Captain Damad Ismail Hakki Bey in Pera, with Registry label "Deutsche Feldpost 663", sent by deputy command of the 4th Osman Army. German Fieldpost 663 was situated at Nazareth at the time of sending and the addressee was second in command of the operational unit of the A.O.K. 8 in Tull Karim, Palestine. The cover has small parts of the wax seal and arrival pmks on back, some creases, still fine usage from the German Fieldpost Yildirim (which in Turkish translates to Thunderbolt), with 2011 Rolf Hasper certificate
