1948 Buildings Series, a definitive collection formed by Mr. Gilhausen, with thousands of used and unused stamps and dozens of covers, neatly arranged and written-up exhibition style on pages and housed in 13 albums, almost each value is represented in depth, studies of comb and line perforations, floating value figures, perforation errors and varieties, misperforated, part imperforate stamps, imperforate singles and pairs, some used on covers, oversized stamps, large and small stamps, retouches of the printing plate, diamond perforations, double impressions, paper folds, plate markings, covers representing the various rates, plus much more.
