LARGE LOTS AND COLLECTIONS RUSSIAN AREA
1862-1920 collection of hundreds of used and unused singles and sets in a large Scott Specialty album, with Wenden, Russian Offices in China (including 1904 10k "Kitai" on vertically laid paper used), some interesting pmks, varieties (60a), marginal pairs and blocks, Russian Levant with No.1 unused, 2-3 used (one with Rossica certificate), study of watermarks and cancels, varieties including inverted background and overprints, Cities overprints apparently complete with many varieties, Wrangel overprints, unauthorized Russian Steamship and Navigation Company in Odessa issue ("wild Levant"), Civil War issues, with Miller Army sets and some bogus items, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Batum, Far Eastern Republic and Siberia, Georgia, South Russia, Ukraine, etc. A good, comprehensive collection, with occasional covers, errors and varieties, some WWII German Occupation and Soviet Occupation of Germany, some reference material included, mostly fine-v.f.
