1858 stampless cover to Rev. Luther Halsey Gulick, Ponape, Ascension Isle, Micronesia, via San Francisco "Care of Prof. Dewitt Alexander, Honolulu", red "Paid New York Aug. 30" cds, with blue pencil "10" and docketing indicating it was sent in 1858, received Feb. 21, 1859, professionally restored, with 2008 Ronald Steuer certificate (earliest known arrival mail - Karolinen Fruhe Eingangspost), an important showpiece item of the Caroline Islands
