1901 (Oct) picture postcard franked with 4x1/2c and 2c Coiling Dragon, paying 4c via Hong Kong, where pair of 2c Victoria were added to pay for further transmission to Germany, card torn at left, otherwise fine combination franking, with redirection markings and Wesel arrival pmk. This card was written by Capt. Wilhelm Lans, who commanded a German gunship and was seriously wounded during the battle of Taku Forts
