 | Lot #1122 POLAND 1943 flown cover to USA, franked with 2sh KUT George VI adhesive, tied by faint cds, with return address of "Africa Uganda Koja, Polish Settlement," censor seal at left, some cover wear, fine and rare (located in a beautiful setting on a peninsula jutting out into Lake Victoria, surrounded by water on three sides and jungle and savanna on the fourth, Koja was some 30 kilometers from the nearest railway station and 60 kilometers from Kampala, too far to allow for much contact with the outside world.
