Ost.F.P. KRAJOVA/ 4/10" (fieldpost), sent via Hermannstadt to Karlsburg, "3" in red pen indicates charge to the Austrian Post Office for transit from the border to Karlsburg, with transit and arrival pmks, filing folds away from the stamps, letter with intact wax seals, disinfection slits, fine and outstanding Crimean War item, with 1991 Fritz Puschmann certificate

1855 outer FL to Pest, franked with Austrian 3k red, six stamps (four singles and horizontal pair), margins all around, except pair cut in at bottom, all tied by five complete "GIURGEVO 13/8" (Muller Nr. 3441a, each 1275 points) cancels, one with "RECOM" (registry) handstamp, with "Alt Orsova" disinfection and Pesth arrival pmks on back, letter has been refolded, with filing folds through two singles, nevertheless fine and quite fresh, rare Fieldpost usage during the Austrian Occupation of Moldavia and Walachia (1854-1857), with 2005 Dr.Ferchenbauer certificate ("Sehr Schones Stuck")
