| Lot #100 AUSTRIA 1838 autographed letter signed by Franz Liszt, sent to the Chevalier Catrufo "En Ville" rue Mortholon 7 Bis, enclosing a complimentary ticket to his concert, one page with integral address-leaf (small faults), 8vo. Franz Liszt was an Austrian/Hungarian composer, pianist, conductor and teacher. He became renowned for his virtuosic skill as a pianist and was said by his contemporaries to have been the most technically advanced pianist of his age. In the 1840s he was considered by some to be perhaps the greatest pianist of all time. A fine autographed letter from Liszt
