LARGE LOTS & COLLECTIONS RUSSIA - Postal History
1790-1913 balance of a consignment, selection of 45 covers and cards, with several better 18th Century stampless from Riga, Moscow, Hapsal, Reval, Mitawa, etc. (many signed Mikulski), better destinations include 1875 FL from Odessa to Cyprus (franked with 10k and 4x3k), 1875 registered cover from Rostov, via London to Australia, with Adelaide arrival pmk (three color 37k franking, 30k defective), better registered covers including 5k stationery entire (opened for display), additionally franked with three each 1k and 4k, with seven complete strikes of the rare St. Petersburg XXXIV cds, used in 1896 to Germany, others to France, England, Italy etc. Also included are nine covers or entires from Russian Levant, some with Romanov franking, used from Constantinople to Bavaria, Austria, Hungary, Russia etc., mixed condition, with occasional flaws noted, mostly fine-v.f.
