1919 (12 July) Trans-Atlantic (second attempt) flight by pilots Raynham and Morgan, cover franked with $1 on 15c, canc. "St. John's July 12, 1919" and addressed to England. Only 85 covers were prepared for this flight, which crashed on take-off. The mail was taken by Capt. Raynham via steamship and delivered to London postal authorities, with Jan.7, 1920 arrival, minor toning and cover folds, fine and very rare, with Diena cert.
