1840-1960 balance of Abraham Siegel stock of 5,000+ covers and cards, housed in 13 cartons (bankers boxes), assembled over a lifetime of collecting and philatelic trading by one of the most knowledgeable and respected postal historians, most areas represented and somewhat sorted, with Eastern and Western European countries, Latin, South and Central America, Asia and Pacific area, Russia and Russian Area, Greece, Belgium, Czechoslovakia and others. Here you will find everything from stampless to ship mail, destinations, rates and registry markings, censored mail, first flights, high values on cover, officials, postage dues, advertising covers, extensive used and unused postal stationery, propaganda cards, complete sets on cover, unusual combinations, some reference material and even a small group of stamps and items which need further research (Honduras Air Post, high catalogue value items which need to be expertized, etc.). Many of the covers are priced ($20-$500+), some with hand-written explanatory notes.
