1872-1960 accumulation of thousands of covers and cards in 9 cartons, assembled over many years by James Duffy (one-time vice president of GPS, President of Ameripex etc.), with emphasis on World War II Fieldpost (included is one volume with hundreds of different "Feldpost" registration labels), hundreds of different field post offices, military units, censor markings, SS mail, registration, official mail, POW cards and letters from various Stalags and much more. In addition, there are numerous specialized areas such as Inflation covers, German Occupation of Channel Islands, Pleskau, post-WWII currency reform, early Berlin, French Zone, Saar, AMG (Allied Military Government), Russian Zone, and other Local Issues. Older covers include occasional German States and Reichspost, postal stationery, Officials, flight covers and much more.
