1838 LISZT, Franz (1811-1886), 1838 autographed letter signed to the Chevalier Catrufo "En Ville" rue Mortholon 7 Bis, enclosing a complimentary ticket to his concert, one page with integral address-leaf (small faults), 8vo. Franz Liszt was a Hungarian composer, pianist, conductor and teacher. Liszt became renowned for his virtuosic skill as a pianist. He was said by his contemporaries to have been the most technically advanced pianist of his age, and in the 1840s he was considered by some to be perhaps the greatest pianist of all time
