1893 (20 July) cover addressed to Cherdyn city, franked with local 2k rose, tied by a violet "Mikhail Lukich Tetyuev" datestamp, repeated on back. Mr. Tetyuev was a Zemstvo agent in charge of postal service of the main Zemstvo post route. A v.f. cover, ex-Faberge, with his notation on back "purchased from Koerber in 1973" (illustrated in "Imperial Russia Zemstvo Post," page 78) (Schmidt 8)

1905 (14 Jan) combination picture postcard franked with local 2k (Ardatov type), tied by oval Zemstvo Post departure datestamp, sent via state post, where Imperial 4k (pair of 2k green) were added for further transmission to France, arriving in Foix Ariege (in southwestern France in the Midi-Pyrenees region) on 9 February, minor flaws, otherwise fine and scarce Zemstvo usage abroad (2k postcard rate was in effect from 1901 until 1916)
