 | Lot #3777 LARGE LOTS & COLLECTIONS IRAN 1865-1925 collection housed in two cartons, including three Persiphila-made albums (one for the stamps issued under the 4 Qajar kings, and also for the non-Scott issues plus some covers), plus additional stock books, pages and miscellaneous items. All items over $50 (and some under) have all been certified by Mr. Mehrdad Sadri and are signed by him. There is a large section of 1870-1880 issues, Officials, Parcel Post etc. There are many varieties, plus Scott's unlisted items, such as 1910-1915 unadapted proofs for the Coronation of Ahmed, the beautiful Buildings and Kings sets with and without the "Service" overprint, the gold and silver border sets, all the 1910 "postal packet" sets, plus 1920 Gilan Revolution. The collection also contains two of the largest known multiples of the 1911 "Relais overprints" on the Coat of Arms issue (block of 15x2chahi, and a block of 16x3chahi, signed Sadri, cat $12,400).
