De Castellane to his father in Paris, re-addressed to Ardes, charged "6" to cover forwarding charges, interesting text (transliterated in both French and German) "we are leaving for Babinovich and Smolensk, horses have already left with the guard (the battle of Vitebsk was a military engagement that took place on 26 and 27 July 1812.
