1903 (12 Dec) cover from the volost Snegirev in Kherson district to St. Petersburg, with 5k Zemstvo franking on back tied by oval datestamp and manuscript, supplemented by the Imperial 7k blue, cancelled the same day, with arrival pmk (16 Dec) alongside. This cover is addressed to Dr.B.A. Oks, editor of the journal "Feldsher," roughly opened, but with stamps and markings intact, accompanied by Dr.Greis cert. ("Kherson covers are rare, a total of 20 recorded in the philatelic literature, only three with S11 (C10a) franking") (Schmidt 11)
