| Lot #1305 UKRAINE Odessa 1918-20 Odessa was the second postal district to overprint Russian stamps with the Ukrainian trident. As a large postal center, Odessa overprinted large amounts of stamps either by hand or printing press. There are six main types, type 1,2 and 3 were machine printed, and 4,5 and 6 were handstamped. For comparison purposes, handstamps were applied to strips of seven stamps, showing different subtypes on each.
