 | Lot #1653 BRITISH COMMONWEALTH UGANDA 1895 5c violet (with additional "0" at left), used together with 20c violet (with sheet margin at bottom bearing manuscript accountancy notations) each cancelled by pen crosses on re-used envelope (originally sent from Bishop Tucker at Kampala to Reverend E.C. Gordon at Bukassa in the Sese Islands), to the "Venerable Archdeacon Walker" at Mengo, Buganda, further marked "important." The 5c might have been previously used (as it still parts of original backing attached) before being affixed to this cover, backflap missing, fine and very rare cover.
