 | Lot #108 UNITED STATES Flight Covers 1925 (Aug 1) MacMillan Arctic Expedition, large cover with blue cachet "MacMillan Navy Polar Flight Expedition Etah Aug 1 1925 North Greenland", franked with 2c adhesive, tied by Elmira cds, addressed to MacMillan, signed at left. In addition, there is a letter headed "Rawson-MacMillan Field Museum Expedition" dated June 7, 1926 referring to the letters brought back from the expedition, as well as a postcard of the "Bowdoin" and hand-painted version of same, fine-v.f. Only 12 covers carried. MacMillan, accompanied by Richard E.
