 | Lot #840 GERMAN WORLD WAR II OCCUPATION ISSUES German Occupation of Ukraine - Alexanderstadt 1942 1.50r on 10k dark blue green, type II, retouched overprint ("nachgemalt") variety, tied by a Cyrillic "CCCP" 28.4.42 postmark and used on locally addressed cover, filing fold well away from the stamp, fine and rare. These overprints were retouched as the ink invariably faded.
