 | Lot #1396 PERU 1881 (June 22) cover from Trujillo (with docketing on back) to Callao, franked with 4x20c brown red, with oval "Certificado Trujillo" (number left blank) indicating that the cover was meant to be sent registered. The Chileans permitted the Peruvian stamps to be used for some weeks after they entered Trujillo, the registration marking was actually for military control purposes, fine, ex-Hassel  Catalog #27 | Price Realized $425.00 |
