 | Lot #2165 COLOMBIA Air Post 1923 Scadta's Manuscript "Paid" Provisionals, two covers, one endorsed "Pago 0.30" another "Pago $0.30 os postes / no hay estampillas" ($0.30c in postage was prepaid because there were no 30 centavos stamps in stock) each used with government franking from Medellin, November 3, 1923 to Bogotá and from Puerto Berrio, March 25, 1924 to Cartagena. These manuscript provisionals were necessitated by the stamp shortage caused by the disappearance of 16,000 30c stamps from the ship "Christian Horn".
