 | Lot #2136 COLOMBIA Air Post 1921 Provisional Handstamps (Neiva), typewritten "Valor $0.10" in violet on 50c green, tied by oval "Sociedad Colombo Alemana Correos Aereos Girardot" on cover, used with government franking to Neiva, with arrival datestamp, fine, signed Kessler, Aisslinger, BPP. It is difficult to establish the exact status of these stamps. The company (Scadta) was pre-occupied with other problems at that time and did not check on details of the surcharge. Due to the fact that original stamp was a 50centavo value, there was no reason to object to the devalued surcharges, as the company collected the original face value of the stamps.
