| Lot #4010 BRITISH COMMONWEALTH UGANDA 1895 20c, without borders, affixed on 1896 ( Feb.19) folded and typewritten letter from Rev. Ernest Millar at Namirembe (interesting contents discussing the native burnings of convert's houses and property. The writer continues to say "the mail for the coast left this morning, we only had two days notice and so there was no time to send you. I think the mail in the future will leave every four weeks. Things do not however yet seem settled") to A.B. Fischer at Bamusuta, Kinakulya, North Singo. An important cover, especially because the letter was typed on the same machine as the stamps; the paper is also the same as that on which the adhesives are made, ex-Roy Dunstan collection Catalog #SG 38 | Price Realized $5,750.00
