1918 (12.3.19) registered cover (opened for display) from a Red Army Latvian soldier, stationed somewhere in the region of Latvia occupied by the Red Army, written to his wife in Tambov Porohovoi Zavod (gun powder factory in Tambov), properly franked with 35k dark blue and 15k Arms (paying the actual registration fee of 50k, in effect from Jan 1 until November 1, 1919), both cancelled by pen, with arrival pmk and redirection endorsements including one for Riga, also Army Field Post (12.5.19) and Riga (14.5.19) pmks and bearing endorsement indicating that addressee returned to her country (Latvia), plus finally "Obratno Odpravleno" (returned to sender) in large Cyrillic letters on front, fine and remarkable letter used by a Latvian Red Army soldier (Latvia achieved independence in 1918)
