Collection of Sperati forgeries on original pages with punched holes at left, binder removed, cover page handstamped "Copyright by, Reproduction interdite" and signed by Sperati, pages are numbered 1-45, plus supplements 1-8, each bearing the distinctive "Les Jean de Sperati Philatelie & Art" Logo at bottom right corner, arranged alphabetically starting with Argentina, Buenos Aires including tete-beche, Austria Newspaper stamps (3), Baden 18kr green, Bavaria 1kr (five, including horizontal tete-beche), Belgium 5fr (2 diff.), Bolivia, Bremen, Brazil, Colombia and Colombian States, Vancouver Island, Gold Coast (20sh), Italian States incl. Naples, Sardinia, Sicily, Parma, Roman States, Tuscany; Spain (52 different), United States (six different, two Confederate States), Finland (1m), France (39, incl. four tete-beche pairs, 2x5fr Napoleon), Greece, Hawaii, Hong Kong (96c), Hungary, Lagos (3), Russian Levant, Luxembourg, Malta, German States (Oldenburg, Saxony), Philippines (4), Romania, Sierra Leone, Sweden (4, including the "error of color"), Switzerland (38 mostly Cantonals incl. Double Geneva), Newfoundland (6), Uruguay (35), Guatemala (inverted center), Hawaii (numerals), Mexico, Mauritius, Peru, Australia £2 Kangaroo (sold at the Bailie auction for close to $5000), etc. An important collection of these well studied and collectable forgeries, with 335 stamps, minimal duplication, with all "better" items included.
