1918 (July 9), Calgary to Edmonton flight in a Curtiss Stinson Special by Katherine Stinson, the only woman to fly mail officially in Canada, folded "Calgary Industrial Exhibition" letter, franked with 2c George V, tiedby "Aeroplane Mail July 9, 1918 Calgary, Alberta" hs, with Edmonton July 9 arrival on back. About 250 covers were carried by Mrs Stinson, but very few have survived
