If you wish to participate in our floor auctions, but cannot be there in person, we recommend bidding live via the internet through CherrystoneLIVE. If you cannot be present in person or online, Cherrystone will represent you by executing your written, absentee bids (see Ways to Bid). There are also a number of Auction Agents who can act on your behalf.

Ways to Bid

Your bids are strictly confidential, and the placing of a bid shall constitute acceptance of our terms of sale. Please note that bids significantly lower than our estimates will not be considered.


Payment

All payments at Cherrystone Auctions are in U.S. Dollars. Cherrystone accepts Visa and Mastercard. Credit card payments are subject to a 3% surcharge. You may submit your credit card information securely at www.cherrystoneauctions.com/pay.

Payments may also be made in cash, by money order or by checks drawn on U.S. banks. Please do not send double-endorsed or third-party checks.


Shipping

We ship all lots by FedEx. Please provide a street address and phone number for FedEx delivery. Additional charges may apply for bulky lots and/or additional insurance.

Descriptions

Superb — A state of absolute perfection. Thus, this term is rarely applied.

Fine (F) — Somewhat off centered, but perfs clear design. Fairly light postmark when used.

Very Fine (V.F.) — Well centered, lightly cancelled when used.

Very Good (V.G.) — Off centered, perforations cut into design. Nevertheless, sound and free from any defects unless otherwise noted.
